Auto Tune Live Vs Pro
Mar 27, 2020 In the studio, Melodyne really has no competition for accuracy, but if you need tuning in a live scenario you need something that processes the audio in real-time so Auto-Tune is your only choice. Since Auto-Tune’s processing is zero latency, to achieve absolutely no latency whatsoever you’ll need a powerful enough computer to run it. Antares makes many different versions of Auto-Tune—Auto-Tune EFX, Auto-Tune Live, and Auto-Tune Pro—that have various options and different interfaces, but any of those can give you the effect you're after. Auto-Tune Pro does have a lot of cool features and updates, but you don't need 'Pro' to sound pro.
Apr 04, 2020 In this article, we will do a full in-depth comparison between Melodyne and Autotune. Melodyne vs Antares Auto-Tune. Both options are leading vocal tuning plugins that are powerful and full of capabilities. And both of them do the same thing. However, there are some points where they perform well and where they do not. Let’s have a look: Melodyne.

Lives for gear
hi all-
finally traded in the old PCI HD rig. got a new computer with HD Native, PT 10, etc etc. it runs super-well. things is great.
i do however probably need to upgrade from Autotune 4 to something that's not 10 years old. if it makes a difference- i am frequently using it to correct a few notes here and there. i am almost never doing any kind of crazy tune-every-note-twice-over sort of modern pop.
i know what the differences are between EVO and 7. but does anyone actually find themselves using/needing/wanting the extra features in 7? if not, i'll probably just save a few bucks and grab EVO.
is one or the other less prone to crashing Pro Tools?
thanks for your feedback.
